MTHS - The past week has been a series of goodbyes for our senior class. Today, members of the Class of 2024 share a goodbye with Trevor, one of our beloved MTHS custodians.
Our custodial staff put in long hours to keep our buildings maintained and clean, but more importantly, they get to know the students and help to support them in their time at the high school. They are here early in the morning and late at night opening the building, cleaning, moving furniture, setting up for events and helping to keep us safe.
To our current daytime custodians, Trevor, Dawn, Livingston and Will, thank you for all that you do for the students, staff and faculty at MTHS. Your efforts do not go unnoticed!

But, the students and staff at MTHS are still hard at work! Today, Mr. Queen's chemistry students worked in lab groups to determine the pH of household substances.

MTHS - Today we celebrate our graduating seniors with the Senior Picnic! This morning, students received their yearbooks, walked down to the Community Center and fields, played games and enjoyed food from various vendors. The students will receive their caps and gowns at dismissal from the picnic.

An extra special thank you to Cristina Ryduchowki for all of her hard work in putting together the video!

MTHS - The Class of 2024 is leaving their mark! Today and tomorrow, seniors can participate in the annual National Honor Society fundraiser and place their handprint in the stairwell off the rotunda. These handprints will be a constant reminder of our students who graduate in a few short days!

MTHS - For their last AP Statistics project, students randomly selected a topic. The topic was broad and students needed to find statistics within the topic of interest to them using research from databases and reliable sources. Additionally, all of the units covered in the AP curriculum (univariate and bivariate statistics, methods of data collection and types of bias, probability, sampling distributions and inferences of proportions, means, categorical data and linear regression) needed to be included in the presentation.
The student presentations will be in the media center and judged by faculty members in the coming days!
