MTHS - The ESL Family Outreach Program recently hosted a fantastic Family Bingo Night at Lazar for our ESL families—and it was a blast! The evening was filled with laughter, connection, and of course, some exciting bingo wins. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the PTCs of Hilldale, Woodmont, Valley View, Cedar Hill, Lazar, and MTHS for their generous prize donations. Your support helped make the night extra special for our families! MTHS - Today we recognize and celebrate National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day at MTHS. We extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated men and women who ensure the safe transportation of our students every day. Our bus drivers often provide the first friendly greeting of the day and the last reassuring smile as students head home. MTHS - Let’s hear it for the employees from the Burst Stripz’s and E-scentials’ IBPF classes who participated in the Youth Business Summit national competitions and trade show in New York City. Burst Stripz sold a whopping $35,000 worth of their energy, recovery, and sleep strips while E-scentials out-hustled its sister firm by selling $45,000 worth of its air fresheners and candles. In addition, a special shout-out to the Burst Stripz business plan presentation team of Riya Nadkarni, Abhay Nagar, Jake Volpe, Divya Venkatachalam, Alex Sawieljew, and Shea Dougherty who became the first team from Montville to advance to the semi-finals and finish in the top 20 nationally!
The Youth Business Summit featured 275 student run and created "companies" at the Javits Center complete with an industry style trade show. These young entrepreneurs represented MTHS with drive, creativity, and professionalism. A huge congratulations to both teams for their remarkable success and for making Montville proud on the national stage!
