IN THE NEWS! #MTHS & Township Wrestlers work together in the community. “It is important to instill in our wrestlers true hard work, dedication, & pride in Montville Township.” said Coach Brian Kapral. The coaches at all levels have noted: "As a program, the Broncos and Mustangs are treating this as a K-12 wrestling program instead of separating them. July 4th --
For Memorial Day, #Lazar students joined the Montville VFW Post 5481 in the township's historic cemeteries to place flags on veterans' graves. Those buried there include veterans from the Revolutionary War, Civil War, Spanish American War, WWI, WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War.

#Lazar Student Council's last Fun Friday of the year helped to kick-off Pride Month with a Rainbow of Colors. For the 6/2 event, 6th grade wore red or orange; 7th-yellow or green; & 8th-blue or purple. "Kindness begins within each of us," the SC's invite in the Lazar newsletter said, "and all people are essential, just like the colors of the rainbow." The Lazar SC officers & reps gathered for a rainbow photo.
