The Math Teachers: Charles A. Grau who is completing a total of 30-years as an elected volunteer to the Montville Township Public Schools Board of Education, and 62 years in education in NJ, presented the MTPS 50-Years-of-Service Award to Toby Cohen. Grau taught Cohen math in the 1960’s. Cohen has been a Robert R. Lazar Middle School Math Teacher for 50-years.

“Practice Makes Permanent!” The Montville Township High School students who attended the Montville Township Public Schools Multilingual Academy at Woodmont Elementary School this summer served as leaders and mentors for the younger students in the program. The older students assisted  elementary students in refreshing and revitalizing reading skills at Woodmont Elementary.

Alyson Coppola, of Woodmont Elementary , and Naomi McCloskey, a Montville Township High School [MTHS] Counselor, and Anthony Sia, an MTHS Business and Marketing teacher, are each leading a group of high school students on international trips that focus on the exploration of Global Entrepreneurship. During July 2024, three educators from the Montville Township Public Schools [MTPS] are Program Leaders for three unique, 3-week, “Global Navigator - High School Summer Abroad” programs. Hosted by CIEE [Council on International Educational Exchange], the MTPS teachers are each leading a different specialty program that focuses on specific student interests. All three programs connect students from across the United States with international professionals in each subject area. CIEE offers programs in more than 30 subject areas. Becoming a CIEE Program Leader is a competitive endeavor.
Cristina Ryduchowski, the Montville Township High School [MTHS] Class of 2024 Vice President, spoke of bravery at the 53rd Annual MTHS Graduation Ceremony. The event was held outside, on the field, in the Mustangs Stadium, on June 20, 2024.
Montville Township High School Students Activities Counsel President for the Class of 2024 Ava Failla. Failla reminded her peers to “Remember your roots,” and “Make a difference.”
Aarav Mulinti is the Salutatorian of the Montville Township High School Class of 2024. The graduate will major in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania in the fall.
Ryan Sun is the Valedictorian of the Montville Township High School [MTHS] Class of 2024. A leader in his class, Sun also served as the President of the Class of 2024 for the entire four years of his high school career.  Sun will attend Dartmouth College in the fall. He plans to major in Economics.
Over 275 members of the Montville Township High School [MTHS] Class of 2024 participated in the 53rd Annual MTHS Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Despite intense heat, the school’s tradition graduating from the MTHS Mustang Stadium was upheld. At the end of the ceremony the graduates tossed their mortar boards into the air.
