Acting NJDOE commissioner Dr. Angelica Allen-McMillan and Dr. Karen Cortellino, President of the NJ School Boards Assoc. Board and member of the #MontvilleBOE.
Cortellino announced Allen-McMillan at the annual NJSBA conference this week in Atlantic City. Over 4,000 school board members, public school administrators, and others attended the state-wide educational leadership conference this week.



MTHS -Students in Ms. Iemmello's public speaking class work on their power pose! In this elective course, students use the research method and prepare speeches to inform, entertain, and persuade. Students also participate in activities to improve their public speaking skills!


MTHS - This week join our Student Assistance Counselors - Ms. Lomauro and Mrs. McCorkle - in the rotunda to learn more about Red Ribbon Week. Can you guess how many candy corns are in the jar? Do you want a coloring sheet to help you relax during lunch? Stop by and say hi!



Tidbit Tuesday: Large, flexible spaces provide ideal room for events like interactive assemblies, hands-on workshops & combined-class gatherings.

MTHS- Today we hosted a college fair for 11th and 12th grade students. Reps from colleges and universities , as well as the military, were in attendance. These fairs provide students a chance to learn about academic programs and meet the reps who read their applications.

MTHS - Happy Friday! Today in Math Lab, students are playing functions war!


MTHS - Ms. Cinquino's Culinary Arts 1 class completed the first lab of the year earlier this week. Students baked - and enjoyed - Grandma Vilet's Apple Dessert.

MTHS - Aarav Mulinti has been elected State Webmaster of NJ FBLA for the 2023-24 school year. He will be working with 10 other officers to organize conferences, workshops, and professional development initiatives for 7,000+ students from across the state!

MTHS - Today in math classes, Mrs. Heitmann's calculus students worked on DeltaMath, Mrs. Evans Algebra 1 students danced to exponent rules and Mr. Farro's geometry students reviewed properties. As the sign in room 401 says, "Today is a Great Day for Mustang Pride" (and math!)
