MTHS - Yesterday, FBLA hosted a badminton tournament after school in the Main Gym. The competition was fierce and prizes were awarded. A special thanks to FBLA advisor, Mr. Scott Farro, and the entire Montville FBLA chapter!

MTHS - Last night (11/15), MTHS held their fall induction ceremony for National Honor Society (NHS.) Advisors, Mrs. Jennifer Nichols and Ms. Kate Slezak, along with guest speakers, Dr. David Gelber and Mrs. Sandy Vermaelen, celebrated the twenty three new inductees.

MTHS-On 11/8, the Math Club participated in the AMC test. The AMC is the first in a series of competitions that eventually lead to the International Mathematical Olympiad. This test helps students build analytical thinking and mathematic skills that can assist in future careers.

MTHS -Today, Dr. Kilanowski hosted the Inaugural “Beowulf Art Project." Students in his AP Lit and Composition classes submitted art pieces related to their study of the epic poem and faculty served as judges. This was a great chance for students to demonstrate their creativity!

Saturday, November 11 at 11AM: A Special VFW Veterans Day Event! The Montville VFW Post 5481 will be having a very special Veteran's Day ceremony this year. It will be held at the Montville Township High School Auditorium. VFW Post 5481 will have as their featured guest speaker, Lisa Jaster. She is a West Point graduate, an Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, and she successfully completed Army Ranger School. She also served in the 92nd Engineer Battalion and deployed in support of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. She has received multiple noteworthy awards, including the Ranger Tab, Bronze Star, and the Medal Meritorious Service Medal. She is an author - Delete the Adjective.
