MTHS-Our annual Winter Pep Rally was a great way to end spirit week! We had the opportunity to honor our winter sports teams and watch heated competitions between faculty and staff in basketball and Family Feud. We hope our MTHS community enjoys the winter break! Happy Holidays!

MTHS -Today, Ms. Slezak's Forensic Science class worked on a Fiber Analysis Lab. Groups completed burn tests on animal, plant, artificial, reconstituted and mineral fibers that are of interest to forensic scientists investigating crimes and and noted their observations.

Dear Podium Readers, Welcome to the first edition of the 2023-2024 school newspaper, The Podium! We are thrilled to present to you our first newspaper, a culmination of the hard work and dedication of our talented student writers. First and foremost, we want to extend our sincerest apologies for the delay in getting started. Like any great endeavor, launching a new publication comes with its share of challenges, but we believe that the result is well worth the wait. The Podium is designed with you in mind- students who are curious, passionate, and eager to share their thoughts with the world. Whether you’re interested in news, sports, features, entertainment, or editorial pieces, The Podium is the platform to express yourself. We envision this newspaper as a reflection of diverse interests and talents within our school community. So, dive into this first edition of The Podium with an open mind and a sense of excitement. MTHS - Ms. Huang's classes are getting in some practice for the annual Lunar New Year celebration. The MTHS Lunar New Year Celebration Showcase to ring in the Year of the Dragon will be on February 15th, 2024.

MTHS -Thank you MTHS community for your donations to the toy drive! All donations were dropped off at Senator Pennacchio's legislative office in Montville. His office donates toys to local children and families in need, as well as the following organizations: Oasis-A Haven for Women & Children, Ronald McDonald House, Passaic County Unico, Jersey Battered Womens Shelter, Kiwanis Parsippany and Montville Unico. A special thank you to the ACCE program, MTHS Key Club, the MTHS Hockey Team, Mrs. Nord, Mrs. Swenson, Ms. Shalongo and Ms. Franzin.
