Montville Township High School Performs “PUFFS”
Fun-Filled Family Show Spoofs Wizards and Wizarding School
Montville Township, New Jersey – PUFFS! The Montville Township High School Theatre Company's fall show is a fun-filled family parody of a popular British wizarding school. The witty tale is told by a misfit band of witches & wizards about their seven eventful years at a certain school of magic.
PUFFS is the story of a regular boy who finds out he's a wizard and goes to school in England where he makes two best friends and has adventures. This, perhaps, sounds familiar? However, these magical kids simply want to learn how to be wizards and avoid attacks by evil wizards.
The cast features many fan favorites. The talented MTHS Drama Club students are also working stage crew. The Montville Theatre Company co-advisor Scott Baird directs this hilarious parody of a familiar story where three potential heroes are just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders, who, as the stage notes note, have thing about badgers.
Montville Township High School is located at 100 Horseneck Road in Montville New Jersey.
The entire community is encouraged to attend this spectacular spoof on a classic favorite. See PUFFS at MTHS in the Dr. Robert O. Stafford Auditorium on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16, 17 & 18, at 7:30PM. Tickets are $10 for students and senior citizens, and $12 for adults. Tickets can be purchased on-line at: http://mthsnj.booktix.net/ , or at the door.
