MTHS - Mount Olive High School’s Art Honor Society hosted its annual exhibition on March 10, 2026. Thirteen high schools around the state were invited to submit ten pieces of artwork. The exhibition featured a wide range of art, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, crafts, and mixed media. College representatives attended as guest jurors, evaluating the work and awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category, along with an overall Best of Show for one exceptional piece.

MTHS - Students in forensic science complete a poison detection lab for their toxicology unit.

MTHS - The Montville Township High School Art Department is proud to announce that six of our students have been selected for this year’s Blackwell Street Artists High School Exhibition. More than 500 pieces were submitted by 14 high schools across Morris County, with fewer than half chosen for inclusion. The selected artwork will be on display at the Morris County Atrium Gallery, located on the 5th floor of the Morris Administrative Building (10 Court Street, Morristown), from March 30 through April 30, 2026. A reception and awards ceremony will be held on April 9th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

MTHS - Today we celebrated our amazing spring athletes and showed our school spirit as they head into their season. MTHS - This week, students in FBLA headed to Atlantic City to compete in the State Leadership Conference. MTHS - Yesterday, our ACCE students participated in the ACCE Olympics! ACCE (Academic, Career and Community Education) serves both students in grades 9–12 and ages 18-21 with a focus on building independence and real-world skills.
Students had the opportunity to show off their abilities through a variety of life-skills challenges, including Financial Fitness, Speed Sweep, Supermarket Sack, Smart Shopper, and Dollar Up Dash. Throughout the event, students demonstrated teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence while having a lot of fun.
Thank you to our dedicated teachers, Mrs. Nord and Mrs. Hyde; class paraprofessionals Ms. Bernstein, Ms. Ciccone, Mr. Ness, and Ms. M; speech pathologist Ms. Parra; and student ambassador Lilah Baker, who helped organize and run this exciting event.

MTHS - More great news from the Music Department! Congratulations to our a cappella group, Mpulse, who won their third consecutive ICHSA quarterfinal championship! Mpulse competed at Cherry Hill East High School this past Saturday and had multiple MTHS students win individual awards:

MTHS - The forensic science class performed fiber analysis tests where they burned fibers to identify distinguishing factors about smoke, burn, and residue. School counselor, Mrs. Garcia even stopped by and got in on the action!

MTHS - Congratulations to the MTHS students accepted into the NJSMA Region 1 Choir! This year marks a major milestone: a 100% acceptance rate, multiple Top 10 placements, and two #1 rankings, according to Choir Director Mr. Cherney. Way to go!

MTHS - Mrs. Einstein's Research in Molecular Biology students start their second round of clones by running PCR to amplify their cDNA inserts.

MTHS - Our Advanced Italian Contemporary Topics students had the opportunity to learn from a communication specialist, Francesca Oliveri from Bindi North America, who spoke about the company’s Italian origins, its specialty products, and how food serves as a vehicle for sharing culture and heritage in the United States. The presentation also highlighted the importance of multilingualism and cross-cultural communication, especially in today’s global business world. This was an incredible real-world connection to what they study in class!
