Forty students enrolled in the inaugural year of the Montville Township Public Schools Multilingual Academy. In a fun, camp-like setting, students participated in a variety of activities designed to build confidence and support English conversation, reading, and writing. “Practice Makes Permanent!” The Montville Township High School students who attended the Montville Township Public Schools Multilingual Academy at Woodmont Elementary School this summer served as leaders and mentors for the younger students in the program. The older students assisted elementary students in refreshing and revitalizing reading skills at Woodmont Elementary.
Confidence, preparedness, and friendship. These attributes and more will accompany the Montville Township Public Schools Multilingual Academy’s students as they enter the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Over 40 Kindergarten to grade 12 students participated in the exciting summer program. Students enjoyed the fun, summer-camp atmosphere as they practiced English language reading, writing, and conversation skills.

As a young man, he embarked on a career in mercantile pursuits in both New York and New Orleans. He managed the New Orleans establishment for sixteen years..." He returned to Montville and was the Twp.'s Postmaster. He was also in the CA Gold Rush for 4 years, built a farm next to what is now #Lazar, and raised 5 daughters and 2 sons.
