Honoring those we have lost. For Memorial Day, #Lazar students helped Montville VFW Post 5481 place flags on veteran's graves. Teachers Rick Crescente, Nicole Rudge & Michelle Trautmann headed the event. For 19 years Crescente & the VFW have organized the placing of the flags.







Remember: 11AM, Mon, May 26: Memorial Day Service at Montville Park Tank monument. Organized by VFW Post 5481. An important event Honoring the Fallen. w/Special Guest Neil Van Ess - Vietnam veteran & Past State and National Commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart.

MTHS - Attention students! On Wednesday, May 28 (Day 2), we will be having a special assembly program in the
Auditorium coordinated by the School Counseling Department. Kevin Mecchella, a youth motivational speaker, will encourage students to prioritize their wellbeing and make smart choices as we step into prom, graduation, and the end of the school year. On 5/28, we will follow a special bell schedule and all students will have the opportunity to attend the assembly.


#MustangPride! On 5/15 Daniella Biggio broke the #MTHS Softball record for career strikeouts w/625 K's! AND--the season isn't over! On 5/20 she broke the record for strikeouts in a single season with 253, 254, 255!!! As of 5/22 Biggio's Career Total is 666! #RollStangs!


MTHS - Congratulations to our MTHS students who were accepted into the NJMEA All-State Choir! Alex Tarnok was selected for the All-State Mixed Choir, while Devyani Sharma, Meghana Neelisetty, and Sophia Billings earned spots in the All-State Treble Choir. Additionally, Alex was ranked as the 2nd Tenor 2 in the state! Meghana was ranked as the 8th Soprano 2 in the state — the most competitive voice part! Our students were chosen from nearly 1,000 applicants across New Jersey — a remarkable achievement for them and their teacher, Mr. Cherney.

MTHS - Forensic science students completed "banana autopsies" as part of their death and decomposition unit. Each group was given a different case to analyze and students could take creative liberties to hypothesize a possible Modus Operandi (MO) and motive for the death of their banana.
