IT Services
The Information Technology (IT) Services department in our district focuses on three key areas: Systems Administration, Management Information Systems, and Technical Services. Each area plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and providing support to various aspects of our district.
Our Systems Administrators are responsible for managing the district's entire infrastructure. This includes overseeing the network, server, data storage, phone, and physical security systems. They are also responsible for the management of various software systems, such as our single sign-on and rostering solutions. By ensuring the smooth functioning of these systems, our Systems Administrators contribute to the overall efficiency of our district.
The role of the Management Information Systems administrator is to offer comprehensive support to users of our accounting, human resources, payroll, and student information systems. They are responsible for assisting users with any issues they may encounter while utilizing these systems as well as analyzing business processes to identify areas for improvement and enhance overall efficiency. Additionally, they are in charge of collecting, validating, and submitting state reports that are related to the data stored within these systems.
The Technical Services team provides essential end-user support to our faculty, staff, and students. They assist with resolving issues related to devices, software, and classroom technology. Additionally, they play a crucial role in managing the district's 1:1 program, which involves providing support for individual devices used by students and staff.
By dividing our IT Services department into these three areas of focus, we are able to provide specialized support and expertise in each respective domain. This structure allows us to effectively meet the diverse technology needs of our district while ensuring optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
Get Support Services
Faculty and Staff: Access the work order system via the work order icon in ClassLink. Middle and high school faculty and staff can also visit their building's respective help desk.
High School Students: Visit the help desk in Room 112 (follow the signs from the rotunda).
Middle School Students: Visit the help desk in the Media Center.
Elementary Students: Students or a parent should inform their teacher of issues requiring IT Support. Your teacher will enter a work order on behalf of the student.
School Issued Technology Devices
The district offers students in grades K-12 a district issued technology device for their use in school and at home.
