Student councils provide essential experiences outside of the academic curriculum and provide a platform for students to hone leadership skills. This award seeks to recognize the schools and students that serve as positive role models for others by leading in endeavors that promote service to the community, foster citizenship, and boost school spirit. ASCA and NAESP commend your dedication and commitment to building the next generation of leaders. As a School of Excellence, your school's information and projects are featured on the NAESP website so that other schools and student councils can look to you for inspiration.
