MTHS - Montville Township High School announced today that the following students have been named as Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit® Scholarship Program: Esteban Bustos, Ishaan Gokaraju, Steve Kaliyadan, Brandon Lam, Jenna Lee, Arjun Patel, Dhayalini Rajamohan, Zara L. Serukur, Ansh Shamdasani, Amudhini Subramanian, Alex Tarnok, Swarit Verma and Vivian Wei.
Approximately 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the 2027 competition for the National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2027 competition by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®.)
