MTHS - Have you seen us on TV? This year the MTHS Chamber Choir earned a spot in the Top 10 of the NBC Star Choir Competition! This contest, hosted by NBC and The Kelly Clarkson Show, seeks to identify an exceptional choir to perform at the iconic Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting on December 3, 2025.
Our Chamber Choir advanced through a highly competitive audition process and was selected from among many talented choirs across the greater New York City area. The choir's success and growing profile were recently highlighted when they were featured in an official promotional commercial for the NBC Star Choir Competition.
The MTHS Chamber Choir is the a vocal ensemble at Montville Township High School, dedicated to performing challenging and diverse musical pieces. The choir, directed by Mr. Ted Cherney, regularly performs at school and community events, maintaining a strong tradition of musical excellence and artistic achievement.
