Disney’s FROZEN JR. will be performed at Valley View Elementary School on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, August 16, 2025. This family friendly production is directed by renowned music teacher Jordan Green, and features Montville Township Public Schools [MTPS] students in grades 4 through 11.
A fun, family-friendly event, Disney’s FROZEN JR. is performed and produced by the Montville Extended Day Learning Center's [MEDLC] Summer Enrichment. MEDLC has been providing outstanding child care and exceptional learning experiences for MTPS students and families for many decades. The MEDLC Enrichment programs were launched in 2023, and have included art, cooking, music, and many other topics of interest. With FROZEN JR. in Summer 2025, MEDLC Enrichment launches an additional opportunity for young performers to participate in a staged theatrical production.
Director Jordan Green is a Robert R. Lazar Middle School music teacher. Green has directed several Lazar musicals, as well as the middle school’s choral groups. In spring 2025, the Lazar Chamber Choir, which Green founded three years ago, was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in the “Gilpin Chorus” of the Distinguished Concerts International New York [DCINY] event. The Lazar Chamber Choir was “discovered” by DCINY in a YouTube video of the choir’s performance of a Gilpin piece from a Lazar concert.
For 10 years in a row, Montville Township Public Schools has been named a National Best Communities for Music Education by NAMM [National Association of Music Merchants].
The August 15 performance of Disney’s FROZEN JR., will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the August 16 performance will begin at 2:00 p.m. Performances will be held at Valley View Elementary School, 30 Montgomery Avenue, Montville, New Jersey 07045.
Tickets for the Summer 2025 MEDLC Enrichment production of Disney’s FROZEN JR. are $10 for adults and $8 for children. This production is a wonderful event for people of all ages.
