MTHS - Montville Township High School is proud to recognize Scipio Han as Valedictorian and Malishka Arni as Salutatorian of the Class of 2025. These two exceptional students, both graduates of Valley View Elementary School, have distinguished themselves through outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to their school and community.

Scipio Han – Valedictorian

Scipio Han will attend Dartmouth College, where he plans to major in Mathematics. Known for his humility, intellect, and generosity, Scipio has taken a rigorous academic track at MTHS. His favorite course—Multivariable Calculus—was specially created to challenge a small group of advanced students.

Outside the classroom, Scipio is an active contributor to the MTHS community. He participates in Science Olympiad, Math Club, National Honor Society, Computer Club, and Chamber Orchestra. As a passionate advocate for cultural understanding, he supports the Chinese Honor Society by sharing his knowledge of Chinese art, literature and music. A talented musician, he plays violin, piano and the guquin and often provides historical context on composers and works during performances.

Scipio also volunteers at the Montville Public Library as a member of the Teen Advisory Board (TAB), where he serves as treasurer and plans community events.

“Scipio is a brilliant young man who is both humble and kind,” said one of his teachers. “He thrives on being academically challenged and always seeks to help others along the way. His impact on the MTHS community is immeasurable.”

Malishka Arni – Salutatorian

Malishka Arni will attend the Stern School of Business at New York University, where she will major in Finance. A driven and versatile student, Malishka has consistently demonstrated a strong aptitude for mathematics and problem-solving, excelling in challenging courses such as AP Statistics and Physics. She has extended her love of math through tutoring peers in Algebra I and Geometry, a role she earned through recommendation by her teachers.

At MTHS, Malishka serves as co-president of the Math Club, president of the National Honor Society, a member of Spanish Honor Society, and president of the Cultural Diversity Club, helping to promote both academic engagement and inclusivity. Additionally, Malishka participates in REACH, a local teen mentoring and volunteer initiative.

“Malishka combines academic excellence with compassion and leadership,” said one of her teachers. “Her dedication, time management, and drive are truly exceptional, and she consistently makes a positive impact on those around her.”

Montville Township High School congratulates Scipio and Malishka on their remarkable achievements and wishes them continued success as they begin this exciting new chapter.
