The top three vote-getters for Montville Township’s Hilldale Elementary School’s Ice Bucket Challenge had large buckets of water dumped on them. The top three included: Number 3, Principal Jill Cisneros; (pictured) Number 2, Gary Dedoussis; and (pictured) Number 1, Ian Schwindel. Twenty-nine (29) other teachers and staff members had smaller buckets of water poured over them. The event raised $1,500.

Five Montville Township High School students received recognition for excellence in Academics, Athletics, Arts, Community Service and Leadership at a recent Montville Township Board of Education Meeting. The five were named Third Quarter ShopRite Stars for the 2022-2023 school year. They have been honored both by Sunrise ShopRite in Parsippany, and MTHS. The five 3rd Quarter ShopRite STARS are: Karl Monaco, Leadership; Sarina Dang, Community Service; Grace Kowalski, Athletics; Laura Justnes, Arts; and Gabriella Giudice, Academics.

Quillan, a puppy in The Seeing Eye©, Inc. training program was delivered to Lauri Schmitt at Montville Township Public Schools on National Puppy Day. While at Cedar Hill Elementary School, Schmitt and her family raised four Seeing Eye©, Inc. puppies.
