A Virtual Spirit Day will be held in Montville Township, New Jersey, on Friday, May 15, 2020. The event will mark the 5th Annual OneMontville Green In Day, and will be held to both support Acceptance/Respect/Kindness, and to honor First Responders and Frontline Workers.
All seven Montville Township Public Schools will participate in the ALL DAY OneMontville event.
All students, teachers, families, and everyone who lives in, or works in, Montville Township is asked to #WearGreenMay15!
The entire community is encouraged to wear green and to send photos of themselves wearing green to email@example.com.
Green In Day photos will be part of a special video dedicated to First Responders and Frontline Workers. Everyone who sends in a picture will also be eligible for Give-Away Prizes. Give-Away Prizes are sponsored by OneMontville and Enid Davis-The Davis Group. All Give-Away prizes will help support local Montville Township businesses. All photos e-mailed and received by 9:00 p.m. on Friday May 15 will be included in the video.
The community is also asked to post images throughout the day on their own social media with hashtags: #WearGreenMay15, #AcceptanceRespectKindness, #OneMontville1stResponders. or #OneMontville.
Green In Day is OneMontville’s longest-running annual activity. Founded in 2015, OneMontville is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Acceptance/Respect/Kindness. Wearing Green helps show support for the entire Montville community.
In addition, on the evening of May 15, Green In Day luminaries will be placed outside the Montville Township First Aid Squad, The Montville Township Police Station, the Montville Fire House, the Towaco Fire House and the Pine Brook Fire House. The luminaries will glow green throughout the night to honor Frontline Personnel and First Responders who are working to keep the town and the nation safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. ?Montville Township is comprised of Montville, Towaco and Pine Brook, NJ.

It honors everyone who lives in Montville Township,” said OneMontville President Shari Schwartz. “Due to COVID-19, OneMontville Green In Day 2020 will be virtual, and we hope that everyone in the community will share photos of themselves wearing green and help us honor our OneMontville First Responders and Frontline Workers. We all owe these members of our community our deepest gratitude.”
