As a public school district, we are often asked to share community information. The Community Connections, page on the Montville Township Public Schools website consists of items and links from across the community that may be of interest to you and your family.

Information found on this page may include special opportunities from within the Montville Township Public Schools district. Community Connections information also often originates with state or local government, such as the, NJ Department of Education, Health Department, Police Department, The Montville Township Drug Awareness Council (DAC), or Montville Township Recreation Department. However, Community Connections may also include information from other organizations that support the community such as The Lakeland Hills YMCA, Pathways for Exceptional Children, Morris County 4-H, the district's many parent organizations, or other community groups.

Montville Pride 2025! June 14 at the Montville Twp Library!

Saturday, June 14 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. At the Montville Township Public Library.

Performances at the event include: Lazar's Chamber Choir -- fresh from their Carnegie Hall engagement -- and Montville Township High School's award-winning a capella choir “Mpulse.”

Come out for a joyful, family-friendly Pride celebration filled with food trucks, kids’ crafts, games, and a rainbow of fun! Come together in a vibrant show of love, acceptance, and community!

SUMMER! MEDLC Enrichment! Disney's FROZEN Jr.

Music teacher Jordan Green, of Robert R. Lazar Middle School, will spearhead this outstanding Summer MEDLC Enrichment program. Timothy Faherty and Ashlee Tancredi, both of Lazar's spring production of FREAKY FRIDAY, will also lead the creative team.

Auditions for the MEDLC Enrichment Summer Musical Theatre Camp are Saturday, June 7 at Lazar.

The Summer MEDLC Musical Theatre Camp is for ages 10 to 16. PERFORMANCES ARE AUGUST 14, 15 & 16. Camp runs Monday through Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., for 6 weeks, from July 7 through August 13, at Montville Township High School. Pathways helps children of all abilities develop a sense of belonging and give them opportunities to find their own success, value who they are and develop the resiliency to reach their dreams and potential, and discover their passions and encourages them to share their passions with other children. The Mental Health Association [MHA] in Morris and Sussex. MHA coordinates NJ4S - The New Jersey Statewide Student Support Services. The NJ4S motto is: Inspiring Hope and Healing. NJ4S provides education to parents, schools and community members through in-person and virtual presentations and events. Additionally, prevention programming and brief counseling is available to middle school and high school students. All NJ4S services are at no cost.
