Hi, I’m Matthew Natale, and I am dedicated to supporting the instructional needs of students and teachers here at Hilldale. In my role, I oversee much of the testing and work closely with the Basic Skills team to ensure that students who need additional support receive the targeted interventions they need.

I also arrange and provide professional development for our teachers, which often includes modeling lessons, collaborating on best practices, and offering guidance to help them meet the diverse needs of their students. In addition, I assist in implementing curriculum and programs designed to improve student performance and success.

I am certified as an Orton-Gillingham Teacher through the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) and as an Orton-Gillingham Teacher Trainer through Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am also a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI), a certified Reading Specialist, and hold a New Jersey Supervisor Certificate.
