Hello, and welcome to my teacher page! Thank you for reading a little about me!
First of all, I LOVE HISTORY!
This is my 28th year teaching. I began in September 1991, and have been at MTHS since September 1994.
I have a B.A. in History (American) from the University of Pennsylvania (May 1990), an M.S.Ed. (Secondary Education) from the University of Pennsylvania (May 1991), and an M.A. in American History from Rutgers University Newark (December 2002).
I currently teach three out of the four sections of Sophomore United States History I Honors, and both sections of the Senior Advanced Placement Government & Politics course.
My academic "specialties" include the Declaration, the Constitution, Abraham Lincoln, the Civil War, constitutonal law, and the Supreme Court.
I have been the Advisor to the International Concerns Club (ICC) since I came to MTHS. (Please see the ICC page under Extracurricular Activities).
I also have been teaching American History at County College of Morris (CCM) all year round since 2003.
At home, I have an 11 year old male Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) named Duncan MacLeod.
Finally, I am an internationally certified 4th degree Black Belt Aikido instructor.
Thank you again for reading a little about me!
