Schoology Access for Parents
In the event of a prolonged health-related school closure, our Schoology Learning Management System will serve as our primary means of communicating instructional information to students and their families. Schoology also provides us with a very quick and effective means of communicating with parents on an ongoing basis (snow closures, delayed openings, etc). Schoology has an app that allows you to gain access through your smart phone.
I know many parents have been using Schoology to access information about their child's classes and assignments since it was launched in September.
As of this time, there have been no cases of COVID-19 in Montville, but all New Jersey school districts are required to submit plans to provide home instruction in the event of school closure for a prolonged period. As the school faculty is making its preparations to deliver instruction, we are also asking that parents and students prepare as well.
If you have not already done so, I would advise you to connect into Schoology as part of your preparation for the potential of a prolonged health-related school closure.
If you have not already established a parent account, you will need to contact Parent Access in order to obtain a password. You can contact Parent Access at firstname.lastname@example.org
