The Addams Family is the MTHS Spring Musical

MTHS spring musical, The ADDAMS FAMILY - Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 5, 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. A matinee will also be presented on Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be held at MTHS, 100 Horseneck Road in Montville, New Jersey.

The show will be presented by the Montville Township High School Theatre Company on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 5, 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m. A matinee will also be presented on Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be held at MTHS, 100 Horseneck Road

Montville Twp BOE Honors 15 Outstanding Educators 2019-2020 Teachers of the Year, Educational Services Providers of the Year, Princeton Distinguished Secondary School Educator.

Those recognized were named by their peers to the annual: Governor’s Teacher of the Year, Governor’s Educational Services Professional of the Year and the Princeton University Distinguished Secondary School Teacher programs. “Tonight is our opportunity to recognize our superstars,” said Montville Township Public Schools Superintendent Dr. René Rovtar. “A school district really cannot be successful if we don’t have really excellent teachers and educational services professionals. Tonight we are recognizing the best of the best. These folks have been selected by panels within each school that involve teachers – their peers – parents and administration. We have some wonderful honorees.”

MTHS Alumna Lexi Hartley 1 of ONLY 16 in USA Chosen to Study WWII in Hawai'i. The 2011 Grad Carries on Former History Teacher Peter Porter's Legacy. MTHS Alumna Lexi Hartley 1 of only 16 in US chosen to attend National History Day® Sacrifice for Freedom®: World War II in the Pacific Student & Teacher Institute.

National History Day® and Pearl Harbor Historic Sites Provide Learning, Research, and All Expenses Paid Trip to Hawaiʻi - MTHS alumna Lexi Hartley and one of her history students from the Lehman Alternative Community School in Ithaca, New York, will join 15 other teacher-student teams from across the U.S. to read books and selected materials, engage in online discussions, and research a Silent Hero®, a military service member who died in World War II and is buried or memorialized at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. In June, the teams will meet in Oʻahu where they will walk in the footsteps of history, and learn firsthand about the impact of World War II in the Pacific. Hartley was the 2011 MTHS Salutatorian.

Now Accepting Applications for the Integrated Preschool Program 2020-2021

Children with and without special needs will be educated together in an innovative, child-centered program designed to promote the academic, social, emotional and language development of every child. The program will consist of    3 half day sessions per week for 3 year olds and 5 half day sessions per week for 4 year olds.  Click on the link above to read more about the program and access the link to the program application.

Award-Winning Montville Township District Pays $150/Day to Certified Nurses - Montville Township Public Schools is seeking qualified substitute nurses. The district’s daily rate for substitute nurses is $150. Substitute nurses are regularly needed for assignment in buildings and on field trips. Anyone who is interested in becoming a substitute nurse in the Montville Township Public Schools is encouraged to contact June Carle, Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent (june.carle@montville.net), immediately.

Award-Winning District Pays $100/Day to Qualified Subs - Applicants must possess a Morris County Substitute Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Education. Candidates must also have completed 60 semester hour credits at a regionally accredited college or university and pass the New Jersey Criminal History Background clearance.
