The Birthday Book Club is a way to honor your child's birthday by donating a book to Woodmont Media Center.
This year (2009-2010), we will have a
display of Books (in the Media Center) for you & your
child to select a Birthday Book of your choice. All books will be $15.00.
Please come into the Media Center to select a Birthday Book from our
Birthday Box . Complete an Information Sheet which is also available in the
Birthday Media Box. It will look like this:

We will place a bookplate commemorating your child's birthday and announce the student's birthday and the book donated. Our Birthday Celebrity will be the first to borrow the book and enjoy seeing his/her name inside. Birthday Books will be noted each month in our school newsletter (Pawprints). Your child will receive a Birthday Bookmark and an Ice Cream coupon to celebrate their birthday.
We hope you will all participate in this program. It's a fun way to increase our library collection and encourage our children to become life long readers.
Please return to this web site each month to see the most current list of Birthday Books available.
Each book will have a suggested grade level & a brief description.
