Woodmont Media Center is a K-5 library where our Media Specialist meets with classes once a week for 40 minute periods. We listen to stories on our magic carpet where books take us to magical places. We learn how to use the library, select materials and access information. Browsing for books is always the culminating activity.
Grade 3-5 students have opportunity to return to the Media Center for extra research time to work on classroom projects with their classroom teacher & Media Specialist.

We have eleven Computer terminals in our Media Center, with Internet Access. Using a variety of software, we learn how to access information from electronic resources. Surfing the net, allows us to research current information and links us to computer terminals all over the world. WOW! Woodmont Media Center is an exciting place and keeps getting more exciting. We are an Automated Library & the proud owners of a "Smart Board" . We are enjoying our new technology. Come visit us and........
