Pumpkin Time
Objectives:
Students will be able to sequence the pumpkin life cycle.

Students will be able to recall a variety of uses of a pumpkin.
Students will be able to describe the parts of a pumpkin.
Students will be able to participate in a pumpkin carving.
Students will be able to count pumpkin seeds.
Students will be able to compare and contrast apples and pumpkins.
PUMPKIN CARVING
In class, we carved our own pumpkin. We scooped out the seeds and the pulp and got to investigate these parts. We counted the seeds and found that our pumpkin had 363 seeds! We toasted the seeds and tasted them too!
