GINGERBREAD WONDERLAND

After completing our unit on The Gingerbread Man, our class visited the Gingerbread Wonderland.  Here are some pictures of the wonderful exhibits we saw there.

In Class, we read "The Gingerbread Man" and "The Gingerbread Baby" by Jan Brett and looked at the similarities and differences between the 2 stories. 

We made our own Gingerbread Houses and Gingerbread Men to put on display.  Here are some examples of our fun project.

We also decorated our own Gingerbread men to hang in the classroom.  The children were asked to use as much creativity and imagination as possible in decorating their gingerbread men.  here is a picture of some of the gingerbread men hanging in the room.
