GETTING TO KNOW YOU / BACK TO SCHOOL
Objectives:
Children will become familiar with school routines.
Children will identify and relate different feelings (sad, mad, happy, silly etc)
Children will learn the rules of the classroom.
Children will practice cooperation and sharing.
Children will practice correct pencil grip and basic pencil strokes (circle, line, slant)
Children will be able to read sight words ( My, name)

Handwriting and Phonics:
Children will practice correct pencil grip.

Children will be able to explain the difference between a letter and a word.
Children will learn left to right progression.
