    After Monday's devastating tornadoes in Oklahoma, the American Red Cross is working around the clock to provide people with shelters, food, water, and supplies.  The Hilldale Student Council would like to lend a helping hand.  We are asking each student to bring in $1.00 to support our friends in Oklahoma.
     
    You are welcome to donate more if you like.  If you plan on writing a check, please make it out to the American Red Cross.  Please send cash/check donations in an envelope marked "Disaster Relief" by Friday, May 31.  We thank you in advance for your support.

    ...do the MATH-A-THON!

    Math-A-Thon is an educational activity that focuses attention on practicing and improving math skills while raising funds that will be used to support the research and treatment programs of St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital (SJCRH).  Since 1997, our school community has helped raise over $34,000 for this meaningful cause! 

    All students have received a Math-A-Thon booklet & collection envelope.  If you would like your child to participate in the Math-A-Thon fundraiser, collection envelopes are due back to school no later than Friday, June 14.

  • Montville's "Relay for Life 2013"

    The fifth Relay for Life takes place on June 7th - June 8th at Camp Dawson (new location this year!). Relay for Life is an overnight celebration of hope and survivorship, and is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. Teams camp out and take turns walking a track throughout the night, in honor of those who have fought cancer and in memory of those who are no longer with us.  This life-changing event represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.  The Relay for Life website is open for you to register a team and walk together as a community for this important fundraiser.     LOCAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS
      
    * Please join us on Thursday night, May 30th, at 8pm at the Town Tavern in Parsippany for a Karaoke Night hosted by Hilldale Rocks For A Cure. Luminaria will be sold that evening.  Please see the FLYER !
