If you receive emails from Lazar, you will receive the Link each month as well. If you do not receive emails, then you need to sign yourself up.
Directions:
If you have a 6th grader: Send an email to lazarptc6@gmail.com. In the subject line, put “add me”. In the body of the email, give your child’s name and team color. If you have more than one email address you would like the Link to go to, send separate emails to lazarptc6@gmail.com from each email address that you would like added.
If you have a 7th grader: Send an email to lazarptc7@gmail.com and follow the directions above.
If you have an 8th grader: Send an email to lazarptc8@gmail.com and follow the directions above.
If you do not have access to email, or do not wish to receive the Link via email, hard copies will be available for pickup in the office, usually during the first week of each month. Your email address is confidential and will not be distributed or accessible to anyone other than the school, and will only be used to email the newsletter and other important information relating to school business.
Last year, some people experienced problems with receiving and/or downloading the Link. The Link is always sent as an attachment in Microsoft Word format, so if you block files with attachments, you will not receive it. Some servers limit the size of attachments permitted and again, you may not receive the Link.
If you do not have a copy of Microsoft Word or are using an older version (v 6.x or older), you can download a free software program that will allow you to read the Link.
To download the Word Viewer for PC's (windows), go to: http://office.microsoft.com/Downloads/9798/wdvw9716.aspx Installation instructions are provided. You may want to print the page before downloading the Viewer for reference. To download the file, click on "Download Now". You do not need to have previous versions of Word installed on your PC in order for the Viewer to work. To download the Word Viewer for Mac's, go to: http://www.microsoft.com/mac/download/office98/word_97982000_convert.asp Installation instructions are provided. You may want to print the page before downloading the Viewer for reference. To download the file, click on "Download Now". Note: Mac users must have Microsoft Word 5.1 or Word 6.x for Mac installed in order for this download to work. If you are using a Mac and don't have Word installed on your computer, hard copies of the Link are available in the office. If you are unable to receive attachments or are still experiencing a problem, you may pick up a hard copy of the Link in the office.
***Also- some email accounts send emails from Lazarptc addresses into your junk or spam accounts. Please make sure you do whatever your email provider requires to keep the Lazar accounts unblocked. Usually you just have to add your grade specific lazarptc address into your address book.
