1. Fourth and fifth graders may take out two (2) books at a time.
   (Kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders may take out
   one (1) book at a time and may not bring their books home.)

2. Books are checked out for 1 week and may be renewed (3) times.

3. If a book is damaged or lost, a fine will be charged.

4. If a student has an overdue book or have lost a book they will not
    be allowed to check out any additional books.

WHEN YOU ARE IN THE MEDIA CENTER:

1. Use quiet, inside voices so you do not disturb others.

2. Pay attention to the media specialist and media assistant.

3. Wash your hands before handling any books.

4. Take good care of the books.

5. If you find a book that is damaged, show it to the media specialist.

WHEN YOU LEAVE THE MEDIA CENTER:

1. Walk slowly and quietly.

2. Protect your books from the rain with a plastic bag.

3. Remember to return your books on time!
