Donna Cohen
Head of Library and Information Services

Mrs. Cohen has worked as a library media specialist in both middle and high school settings. Besides reading, she enjoys spending time with her family (that includes her beloved dog Milo) hiking, biking, and flying small planes.

Mrs. Cohen served as a professional sign language interpreter for the deaf for over 18 years. In addition to interpreting in corporate and educational settings, she has interpreted for numerous Broadway shows and Paper Mill Playhouse productions.

Mrs. Cohen has earned a reputation for innovative ideas and practices by pushing boundaries, implementing creative ideas, and providing excellent library service. The school communities have benefited from her inventive library programs, WebQuest, and noteworthy guest speakers.

Lynne Ely

Lynne Ely has worked at MTHS for 3 years. Mrs. Ely is a graduate of Gibbs College and is married with two daughters ages 15 and 11. After staying home for several years to raise her children, Mrs. Ely returned to the work force doing what she loves—working with students and books!! In addition to her two daughters, she also has two "furry daughters"—Kirby, a chocolate labrador and Roxy a pug puppy.

 

Diane Winters

This is the beginning of Mrs. Winters 6th year as a Media Assistant in the Montville High School Library. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Douglass College (Rutgers University) with a major in English. Mrs. Winters loves to read and becomes obsessed in a good book. Medical mystery, murder and historical fiction are at the top of her pile of books to read.

In addition to reading, Mrs. Winters enjoys the shore, theatre productions and museums. She has a son who just graduated from the University at Albany and a daughter who is a sophomore at The University of Delaware. The family pet is a ten year old black Cockapoo named Spenser. He loves digging in the sand, tearing up tissues and sleeping.

And yes...Mr. Winters at Lazar IS her husband.
